throughout the last months, i spent many hours cutting the old super8-movies of my grandmother.
i was caught by the beauty of the colors and motives. it was enchanting to take part in the adventures of my family, that happened long before i even existed.
so yesterday, i took the time to collect the most beautiful moments out of - i think - 9 hours of film.
this should remind us- filming certain moments of our lives is a magical and valuable thing to do, we should make the effort, for the "old future-us" and the next generations of our families.. .
(while time travelling, i highly recommend listening to >forever young< by the youth group.corny, but matchy. let it happen.. .)
